Refurbishment Services
Re-Gilding & Lettering
Faded or worn lettering can be re-gilded or re-painted to restore full legibility and appearance. We match the original style and colour as closely as possible.
Cleaning & Restoration
We use specialist stone-safe cleaning products to remove lichen, moss, algae, and general weathering from granite, sandstone, and marble memorials without causing damage.
Structural Repairs
Cracked or broken memorials can often be repaired and re-fixed to a safe and stable standard. We assess each memorial individually and advise on the best course of action.
Re-Fixing & Safety Testing
We are City and Guilds qualified to assess headstone safety. Unstable memorials are re-fixed using our superior foundation methods — the same approach we use for all new installations.
Kerb & Chipping Refresh
Kerbed memorial sets can be cleaned, re-levelled, and re-filled with fresh chippings to restore a neat and well-maintained appearance.
Additional Inscriptions
We can add new inscriptions to existing memorials — whether for a second interment or to update the wording. Carried out in our workshop or in-situ where necessary.

Workshop or In-Situ
Where possible, we remove the memorial to our workshop for the best results. For larger or fixed memorials, we work carefully in-situ.

Return & Re-Fix
The restored memorial is returned and re-fixed using our superior foundation methods, with a full safety check on completion.
All refurbishment work is carried out to British Standard guidelines. We do not use bathroom silicon, DIY adhesives, or any substandard materials — only the right products for a lasting result.
